Overview of the team registration process

There is an updated new process for all team sports

To enter your team in the 2021 South Island Masters Games, follow this process:

Creating your team

  1. Creating a team is done once only, usually by the team organiser, who could be a player in the team or a Non-Playing Official (NPO) such as the team manager or the team captain.
  2. There is no cost to create a team.
  3. When registering for a team event, you can select an option to either join an existing team or register a new team. Select ‘Register New Team’ and then enter a team name to create a new team. The team will be created after you have completed the registration process.
  4. Once registration is complete, you will be issued with a unique team PIN code. You can share this pin with other team members which they can use to join your team.
  5. You can view your team when managing your registration here. When viewing your team, if you are the team manager, you will also be able to send an email invitation to other team members.

Joining an existing team

  1. Before registering for the event, ask your team manager to share with you the team PIN code or send you can email invitation to join the team (see above).
  2. When registering for the event, you can select an option to either join an existing team or register a new team. Select ‘Join Existing Team’ and enter the team PIN code. If successful, the team name will be displayed. Once you have completed the remaining registration process, you will be added to the team.
